( A micro- fiction story)

Once a painting competition was held in Singapore! It was open for all the children all over the world under the age group of 18! A good number of paintings were displayed in a huge elegant art gallery! The participants with the judges from the different top ten countries were invited. After a keen look at the paintings, the judges jointly approved one painting as number-1!

The hall was filled with the guests. All the participants were excited! One of the judges called a participant. He came and stood there with hands back. Very politely he nodded his head showing respect.

‘So you have painted this!’

‘Yes, sir.’

‘This is very unusual painting, I mean scenery! What message do you want to convey?’

‘Sir! The land is cracked! Far away some tall buildings are seen on one side while a thick blackish smoke is whirled up giving a hint of bombardment! Dead animals and bones are scattered everywhere! On the centre, a few number of human survivors gathered trampling each other and the currencies were in their mouth! Heavy rain falls, but it never touches the ground. That's my point. The way the climate change is happening due to war, deforestation and conflicts among countries, it seems nothing will be available in this earth! No water, no cultivation, nothing! The moment rain falls, before touching the ground, it evaporates! Thus, without rain, without food, people are eating the currencies! It is not far away that this scenario will be there if these are not controlled!’

The judges clapped and unanimously announced the boy as the winner! Let us check these in time or  we have to face the repercussions!

A simple painting explained thousand of words, incredible indeed!
